American Mathematical Society
The Society has over 28,000 individual members and 550 institutional members in the United States and around the world. Programs and services for AMS members and the mathematical community include professional programs such as meetings and conferences, surveys, employment services; publications including Mathematical Reviews (a database of nearly 2 million items covering over 60 years of mathematics literature), journals, and over 3,000 books in print; support for Young Scholars Programs and the Mathematical Moments program of the Public Awareness Office; resources such as MR Lookup for researchers and authors; and a Washington office that connects the mathematical community with the broader scientific community and with decision makers who determine science funding.

American Mathematics Competitions
American Mathematics Competitions seeks to increase interest in mathematics and to develop problem solving ability through a series of friendly mathematics contests for students in junior high/middle school (grades 6-8) and senior high school (grades 9-12).

American Regions Math League
The American Regions Mathematics League's annual competition brings together the nation's finest students. They meet, compete against, and socialize with one another, forming friendships and sharpening their mathematical skills.

Art of Problem Solving
Art of Problem Solving produces problem solving textbooks, online classes, and the world's largest online problem solving community for avid students of mathematics in grades 5-12. Many of the top problem solvers in the world are members of the free Art of Problem Solving community.

MATHCOUNTS
MATHCOUNTS is a national middle school math enrichment and competition program. Each year, MATHCOUNTS provides schools and others with 300 creative math problems meeting NCTM standards for grades 6-8. MATHCOUNTS challenges students and makes math fun and exciting.

Metroplex Math Circle
The Metroplex Math Circle holds weekly meetings for the general mathematical enrichment of 5th-12th grade students in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The sessions are free, sponsored by and held at the University of Texas at Dallas. Professors, teachers, and university students from around the area serve as instructors.

Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society encompassing over 65,000 students in more than 1,400 schools, dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

Purple Comet! Middle/High School Mathematics Meet
The Purple Comet! Middle/High School Mathematics Meet is a free online mathematics contest available to middle and high schools around the world. Nearly 600 teams competed in the Spring 2006 meet.

Rice University Mathematics Tournament
The Rice University Mathematics Tournament is an annual event for high school students from schools in the Texas/Louisiana area. Organized by Rice undergraduate students, it has been held almost every year at the Rice University campus in Houston since 1981.

University of Texas at Dallas
The University of Texas at Dallas, located at the convergence of Richardson, Plano and Dallas in the heart of the complex of major multinational technology corporations known as the Telecom CorridorĀ®, enrolls more than 13,000 students. The school's freshman class traditionally stands at the forefront of Texas state universities in terms of average SAT scores. The university offers a broad assortment of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs.
