This book is the fruit of collaboration of two experienced and enthusiastic mathematicians: Dr. Titu Andreescu, from the University of Texas at Dallas, author of over 20 important problem books, and Gabriel Dospinescu, from Ecole Normale Superieure (France).

The targeted audience includes students preparing for national and international mathematical Olympiads, their coaches, as well as anyone interested in furthering their mathematics education. Even though the book contains many problems collected from various mathematical contests and numerous journals, the beauty of classical results serves as an invitation to mathematics beyond competitions.

The 546 page hardcover book of mathematical jewels has 23 chapters structured as follows: main theoretical results with proofs, illustrated with 10 to 15 examples discussed in detail, followed by a set of problems to be solved by the reader.
