Traveling by Car

Step 1: Review arrival dates and times

Students who will travel by car to campus should plan to arrive according to the times listed below:

* Residential students only. Day students who do not attend the Opening Ceremony should plan to check in with our staff no later than 8:30am on the first day of class.
** Location and time to be confirmed via email one week before the start of camp. Day students and parents are welcome (but not required) to attend the Opening Ceremony.

Step 2: Review where to check in and park when arriving

UT Dallas
Residential students arriving by car should come to the Residential Hall Northwest to check in.

Parking: The best place to park is the parking lot in front of Residential Hall Northwest (RHNW on map). You do not need a parking permit on arrival day. This is also where our day student families will pick up and drop off their child each day.


Cornell
Students arriving by car should come to the Robert Purcell Community Center to check in.

Parking: Paid parking is available in front of the Robert Purcell Community Center. You can download the smartphone app for ParkMobile to find open parking spaces on campus.


Univ. of Puget Sound
Students arriving by car should come to the Wheelock Student Center to check in.

N 15th St.
Tacoma, WA 98406

Parking: Please park in the Wheelock parking lot (P1 on the campus map). You must park only in designated locations (those with white or unpainted curbs, NOT those with red, yellow, or blue curbs). This is also where our day student families will pick up and drop off their child each day.

* Cornell and Univ. of Puget Sound – Please keep in mind the last meal for residential students is breakfast and no activities are scheduled for students on departure day. Parents who want to pick up their child after class (the day before departure day) must email us at least 24 hours prior at admin@awesomemath.org. This is so our staff has adequate time to complete the required check out procedures.
** Location and time to be confirmed via email a few days before the end of camp. Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend the Closing Ceremony.
