Summer Math Program Policies & Expectations
Attendance Policy
Students are encouraged to attend every lecture/teaching session. Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class. Problem session and office hours attendance is optional, but strongly encouraged.
Earning Your Course Completion Certificate
In order to earn the summer math program course completion certificate, you should be present for 75% of your Zoom live classes, turn in 50% of homework, and take at least one assessment test. All the student work must be submitted by the deadlines assigned by instructors and certainly before the end of the session the student is enrolled in. The certificate is available at the end of the session on your student dashboard.
Makeup Policy
We understand that sometimes a student has to miss a class. All lectures are recorded and students will also be able to download the teaching materials (or get a copy from their Instructor/TA). Please note recorded lectures are not meant to be used as a substitute for attending live classes and they are not downloadable. Class materials and videos will not be available to students after the online program session has ended. Homework and problems submitted after the student’s online program session has ended will not be graded and they will not count for earning the completion certificate..
