AwesomeMath Academy Policies
At AwesomeMath Academy, we work with parents and students to create an atmosphere that promotes exemplary education, kind collaboration, and safety. We ask that you review our policies and help support a strong learning environment.
Code of Conduct
As part of the enrollment process you will be asked to acknowledge that both the parent and student have read, understand, and agree to our Code of Conduct. It helps to set the expectations for a positive and collaborative learning environment, so parent support is critical to this process.
Attendance Policy
To get the most out of the program, students are encouraged to attend every class. The video recordings should not be used in lieu of attending a live class. They are there for students who had to miss a class due to emergency or sickness.
AI Usage Policy
To ensure academic integrity and promote meaningful learning, students are not permitted to use AI tools at any time during the program, unless directed by the instructor.
Specifically:
- AI tools must not be used for homework assignments or assessment tests.
- Any work found to be generated using AI will receive a zero and the student will be issued a warning.
- Repeat offenses will result in a notification sent to the student’s parents and may impact continued participation in the program.
AwesomeMath is dedicated to helping students build strong problem-solving skills through thoughtful engagement and rigorous practice. Using AI to bypass this process undermines the purpose of the program and significantly hinders student mathematical growth.
